As we experience this time of uncertainty, staff, students, families, and our community are in our thoughts. We know, regardless of each of our situations, this is a time which will have an impact and needs the support of our community. We will need to remain strong and support one another. The Governor’s directive to close Washington state schools will have an impact on each of us, from the change in routines and predictability of a school week to the modification of curriculum pacing to ensure all students can leave grade level at standard, we will be working behind the scenes to ensure we are doing our best in support of our students and our families. Given the unpredictability of this time, we will continue to look to the Governor, the CDC, Public Health, and the District to provide us guidance and support. If your family is struggling and unable to reach Sarah Michelle Leonard, our family liaison, please email me directly (Misty.firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will coordinate connections to my best ability. If you are looking for student resources during the closure, please click on Student & Families which has packets in multiple languages, as well as other digital resources and meal program information. Please take care of yourself and your family. We look forward to seeing everyone healthy when we return!
